RICH Hunter was on target twice for promotion chasing General Accident as they defeated Civil Service 3-1 in York and District Leeper Hare League Division One.

The Servicemen took the lead but GA fought back well to net three times, with Chris Sharp adding a single strike to Hunter's double.

GA's win took on more significance after league leaders Dunnington were beaten 2-1 by hosts Crayke. Simon Wilson scored twice for Crayke, who are unbeaten at home, while Graham Donaldson replied for Dunnington.

Fulford recorded their third victory in a row with a 3-1 win over visitors Post Office. Striker Mark Ratcliffe netted twice and Shaun Cade once, while Jimmy Bonarius pulled one back for the Postmen.

Phil Forbe-Bell and Dave Fowles were the scorers as Boroughbridge Reserves got the better of General Accident's second string.

Easingwold Town Reserves surprised Reserve 'C' leaders South Bank with a 3-1 win. Craig Fletcher equalised Town's opener by Steve Graham but goals from Tony Richardson and Graham's second sealed the victory.

Ashley Gill and Jamie Mason (2) were the White Horse Reserves scorers as they shared six goals with Heworth, who netted through Craig Barker, Andy Huxley and Carl Turpin.
