Space age parking means getting two cars parked in the space of one. This astonishing innovation using a ramp-and-tilt system is being manufactured with the help of Malton company Ward Building Components Ltd.
Designed and produced by Andy Speechley of Carstacker Company Ltd, Ward Multichannel makes the structural channel sections which form the platform of the device which, say Multichannel, is set to revolutionise parking in Britain and all over the world. It provides full justification for the £ million invested last year in a dedicated production line for Multichannel at Ward Building Component's factory in Sherbern, near Scarborough.
Ward's won the contract after Mr Speechley was put in touch with the firm by Keith Denham, a long-standing user of Ward products.
