Two weeks ago, we had another exhibition in York. It was the 50th anniversary of Carr School.
We went along to the open afternoons at the infants' school and saw all the work that had gone into the celebration, there was even a tea-party tableau in one corridor.
The time chart stretched along one corridor window, it had visual displays of photographs, drawings and writing by the children.
The hall was a delight and good enough for the many tourists we have in our city.
There were objects of 50 years ago, which showed the past in a positive and interesting way for children and the many adults who went to see it.
We would like to congratulate the headteacher, staff and children for this happy memory.
