Scarborough chairman Anton Johnston is to face the fans next Friday at the club.

The former Rotherham and Southend supremo, who took over the chairmanship of Boro from John Russell a few weeks ago is to outline the club's financial position at a 'Fans' Forum' at the McCain Lounge at the ground at 7.30pm.

Supporters will be able to question him about various financial aspects at the club.

Boro have imposed a transfer embargo upon themselves although Johnston has told manager Mick Wadsworth that he will be able to sign players in November.

Wadsworth has little room to manouevre at present and has named the same squad of 15 for the division three trip to Rochdale tomorrow which was fortunate to scrape a 0-0 home draw with Barnet on Wednesday.

Boro's only win at Spotland came in February 1996.
