BRITAIN'S Millennium Dome is being hailed as the crowning achievement of one thousand years of social and scientific achievement.
Just what goes in it will be the product of much soul-searching by some of the nation's most respected authorities.
There will certainly be great kudos attached to whatever is chosen.
What a coup for York, then, that two of the city's products have been given Millennium Products status and could find a home in the dome.
One is Portakabin's tailor-made children's nursery units, Lilliput Nurseries; the other is Nestl's tiny, new Polo Supermint.
Fine, provided that children in the new Millennium clean their teeth properly after they've had their sugary treat.
