There was a time when I would stare into the deep blackness of the night. A beautiful blackness barely touched on by poets and storytellers.
Some nights a million stars would light this blackness, an extraordinary sight! Now it is lit by the Naburn Designer Outlet.
No doubt the three wise men will be guided by this monstrous glow to get the Christmas shopping in early.
