Barclays Premier Banking (BPB) in York has undergone a feng shui transformation, which literally mans arranging your work space for peak performance and maximum profit.
The bank, formerly known as Barclays Private Banking - which looks after those earning £40,000 and upwards and has around 2,500 customers in North Yorkshire - has adopted the Chinese ancient art of placement.
BPB's chief operating officer Tony Woods will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the premises in Tadcaster Road on Friday.
Centre manager, Mike Cross, said: "Since we first opened BPB, or Barclays Private Banking as it was then known, seven years ago, our staff numbers have increased from three to 33 due to expansion.
"We got permission to knock three rooms together in the listed building to get our team all working together in the same room," said Mr Cross.
"As we've applied the incorporated Feng Shui into our plans, staff now sit where they are best positioned."
