Regarding your article (February 27) 'Patiently caring for cancer sufferers'. I would like to say I have received excellent support from hospital staff ever since my diagnosis of breast cancer in January 1998.Particularly from the oncology and the breast care nurses who run a monthly support group.
Being able to talk with nurses and similarly diagnosed people along with family and friends has helped me to cope with this ordeal. The new centre can only improve the great work already being done. Thank you.
