As a lifelong conservative who, like thousands of others voted Labour to get rid of the Conservatives, I am now living to regret it.

Election promises made are not being kept. Labour promised not to increase taxation above inflation rate. We all know what has happened to that.

More than 30 new taxes!

Secondly, and most importantly, was that there would be no entry into Europe without a referendum.

The Government is now actively encouraging British industry to invest billions of pounds to prepare for entry! Does Mr Blair seriously expect us to believe that these companies are prepared to lose these billions if a referendum says no?

Can Labour politicians explain why we can't have a referendum now? They know most of the British people would say no and quite rightly too.
