Last year many people threw heart and soul into Tidy Britain Group's annual National Spring Clean, a campaign that encourages people to clean up their community, countryside and coastline.
Once again I appeal for support for this year's campaign which runs throughout April. In 1998, over 18,000 tons of litter was collected nationwide by three million willing volunteers. Enthusiastic support from volunteers helped make the campaign a great success and it would be tremendous if even more people got involved this year. Getting started is easy. Simply ring the National Spring Clean Hotline number 0870 241 2441 for your free Clean-up Kit which includes all you need to organise your own litter pack. Show your commitment to a clean environment.
