THE Photographic Record of York Streets is an excellent idea and we looked forward to seeing the display advertised.
We made a special journey to see the display on the first day, but were very disappointed at the small number of photographs set out in a mobile library in between shelves of books!
If more than 1,000 people took part, surely it warranted a better display than a few boards with three or four photographs, especially as it took time and money to take the photographs and have them developed. The photographs themselves were excellent and we enjoyed reading the information with them.
Please could we have a better display which would be worthy of the input made by York citizens, preferably at a central point?
