Could that old model train hidden away in the attic be worth a fortune?

Barry Potter, the country's leading auctioneer for model trains, will be at the national Railway Museum in York this weekend to give free valuations as part of an exhibition of historic models.
Bob Gwynne, programmes development manager at the museum, said: "The toys in this show may be from years gone by, but they still have the most amazing appeal to adults and children.
"With Barry Potter on hand during the weekend to give free valuations, we're hoping that models once thought to be granddad's old toy train, left forgotten in the attic, could actually be a collector's item."
The Bassett-Lowke 100-year anniversary exhibition will be held in the Station Hall at the museum in Leeman Road, on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 6pm.
