Evening Press Reader's Letter
With reference to the absence of York Sixth Form College in this year's national league table for A-level results (Evening Press, November 23), deputy principal Peter Roberts said: "It is bureaucratic nonsense". I would like to point out to him that the bureaucratic nonsense began with Mike Galloway's 'merger' in April.
As Mr Roberts says, it is "a huge disappointment to both staff and students". Maybe they are owed an apology from college management for their loss of identity as an educational establishment and for the consequent lack of recognition for their excellent results.
