A question Time-style debate giving North Yorkshire businesses a chance to question a panel about Investors in People will be held at the National Railway Museum in York on Thursday.

BBC presenter Elly Fiorentini will compere the event, which is organised by the North Yorkshire Training and Enterprise Council and the panel will consist of senior managers from companies that have already achieved the IIP standard.

They include Daphne Ellis, managing director of York and County Press, publishers of the Evening Press, Henry Inman, the human resources and training manager of Richmond Frozen Confectionery, Paula Ware, managing director of MAP Archaelogical Consultancy of Malton and David Harbourne, chief executive of North Yorkshire TEC.

The last few seats, on a first come, first serve basis, will include a pre-debate supper and can be booked by phoning 01904 691939.
