York City Baths Club star Robin Francis stormed to victory in the Speedo British Grand Prix in Leeds.
He powered to 200m individual medley glory in two minutes 9.44 seconds over two seconds better than his closest rival.
Francis, 17, had earlier finished third in the 200m freestyle.
YCBC member Colin Huffen set times close to his personal best in the Swimming World Cup in Sheffield.
He was 11th in the 100m individual medley with a time of 1 minute 1.62 seconds. He was 14th in the 200m butterfly in 2:08.34 and 19th in the 100m butterfly in 58.81.
York City swimmers had 23 finalists at the Harrogate District Open Meet, winning five gold, one silver and four bronze medals, setting 40 personal best times and set two national age group qualifying times.
Tom Southam was first, second and third respectively in the 14yrs 100m butterfly in 1:03.43 for a pb and national age group qualifying time, the 50m freestyle 27.18 for a pb and the 100m freestyle in 58.92.
Katy Sunderland won the 100m butterfly with a national age group qualifying time of 1:05.60. She was also third in the 100m freestyle (1:01.01) and 50m freestyle with a 28.52.
Her 10-year-old sister, Alice, showed great form as she won two gold medals in the 10yrs 50m backstroke, with a time of 29.59 (29.28 for a pb in the heat) and the 50m butterfly in 39.35. Robert Kinnell, competing in the 11yrs age group, won the 100m breaststroke in 1:30.12. Rachel Harlow swam to a 1:09.70 to finish third in the 100m backstroke.
Lewis Porylo produced an outstanding performance at the Kirklees Meet as he took the Boys 14/15yrs 200m breaststroke title, with an outstanding personal best short course time of 2:38.02.
Sarah Kinnell was the York City Baths Club's only medallist at the City Of Newcastle Open Age Group Meet.
She took third in the 15/16yrs 100m breaststroke in a time of 1:20.81. She was also sixth in the final of the 15/16yrs 100m backstroke in a personal best short course time of 1:18.50.
Victoria Clapham of New Earswick Swimming Club won a bronze medal in the women's 50m freestyle in the Yorkshire Age Group Championships in Leeds.
In a very close-fought final only one-tenth of a second separated the first three places.
Also swimming well at the championships were Andrew Clapham who was second reserve for the boys' 11 years 100m butterfly final, after finishing in 10th place in the heats. Tony Shaw also finished 10th in the 16 years, 100m butterfly event; both boys swimming long course personal best times.
Tadcaster Swim Squad picked up 22 personal best long course times from 27 swims at the Yorkshire Age Group Championships.
Peter Webster was second in the 14 years 100m backstroke, setting a personal best in the heat, and then another in the final where he was beaten by only .04sec.
He also swam pbs in the 400m individual medley, where he finished ninth, and the 200m freestyle. In the latter event there were also pbs for Philip Bourke and Andrew Withers, who finished 11th place overall.
Ten-year-olds Leon Dryden, James Webster and Chloe Carter had their first experience of long course events. Dryden only just missed a place in the final of the 50m backstroke, his time of 43.21sec giving him 12th place.
There were pbs for Charlotte Black and Anna Horwell in the 100m freestyle and 200m individual medley, both girls climbing 20 places in the freestyle rankings from 1999.
