Reader's letter
I was interested to read that a Band D property in York is only £607 even with the 7.5 per cent increase in Council Tax (April 3).
Would Mr Laws, City of York Council's accountancy manager, like to tell me in which area of York this is, because our band D property Council Tax for the current year is £751.12 - or are we being well overcharged in this "cheap to live" city?
