THE Schola Cantorum, the choir of boys and monks of Ampleforth Abbey and College, is being filmed by the BBC as part of this year's BBC Music Live series.
The programme, Plainchant from Ampleforth, will be based around the monastic service of Lauds, the service for sunrise.
The music will be complemented by scenes from the daily work of both the college and the monastic community. The programme should be broadcast on the morning of the Spring Bank Holiday, May 29, on BBC1.
