RYEDALE rockers Confliction have found a singer, thanks to an appeal through the Evening Press.
Guitarist Chris Austin, from Norton, approached the paper when the band were unable to complete their line-up. Since then they have not only taken on Andrew Mullenger to carry out singing duties, but DJ Matt Jasiewicz has joined to add rap influences to their music.
"Our style has changed, its more rap/rock like Slipknot and Cypress Hill," said Chris. "We're just getting some original songs together now, it should not take us long before we start playing live," he added.
But it has not all been plain sailing for Confliction. Their bass guitarist has left the band leaving them with another vacancy to fill.
If any talented bass players fancy taking up the challenge of joining the band, ring Chris, during office hours, on 01653 692473.
