YOUNG Hannah Boaz has sampled gymnastic success on two continents.
The eight-year-old has just returned from the United States where she won medals to add to a domestic haul of trophies at the White Rose Amateur Gymnastic Championships.
Staged at Brayton High School, Selby, and in competition with youngsters from across the region, Hannah was crowned overall primary champion after her bars, beam, vault and floor routines, and also won gold in her nine-and-under age group.
Hannah, a pupil at Brayton County Junior School, had great success in America where she and four team-mates from Selby Gymnastic Club were guests of their counterparts from Hendersonville, North Carolina.
After using the Olympia Gymnastic Club's top class facilities and coaching, Hannah went on to win four gold medals and one silver when competing against her hosts.
Hannah's father, Richard Boaz, accompanied her to America. Members of the Olympia club visited Selby last year.
