AN enterprising Pokmon-mad boy from York has seized upon the nation's fever for the card craze.
The 11-year-old placed a free advert in the Evening Press, asking £20 for one of the most-prized cards - the battling beast Charizard, on a spangly, platinum background.
When we contacted him, his mum said he had had no offers.
She said: "He got it in a swap, and those cards are particularly sought-after.
"He thought of putting the advert in himself, but he hasn't had much response.
"I think it's just a craze. Everyone's trying to sell them and some people are foolish enough to pay that amount of money!
"I think it will fade out soon, hopefully."
