WE in Nunnery Lane/St Benedict Road estate have yet to see any signs of the three "dog-do" bins paid for by the grant from the City of York Council, ordered in March 1999.
Some local dog-owners have filled, instead, the footpath grit-bin, which was reported as a health hazard in March of this year, but will only be attended to when these receptacles are serviced this autumn!
Doesn't the council realise it takes all of six months to train a dog to sit on these dog-bins - let alone use a toilet roll. My dog can't wait that long and this business is getting out of hand.
