THERE seems to be considerable anxiety about the possibility of bad behaviour from fans during the forthcoming European football competition.

I seriously suggest a remedy for these understandable fears.

I am told that in Amsterdam the sale to the public of certain resinous substances, not obtainable here, has been legalised. I am further informed that the consumption of this exotic form of tobacco has a most relaxing effect.

Distributing this to the more hot-headed fans would eliminate all violence and instead, there would be scenes of friendship, peace and love.

There would, of course, have to be suitable controls in place to prevent excessive consumption. The England cricket eleven seem to have over-trained on it.
