WHILE looking through your newspaper to select a suitable place to 'car boot' some unwanted items last Sunday I noticed most of the venues were all on Sunday morning. Surely four different car boot sales in the York area on Sunday morning saturates the market and reduces the choice of stalls to the public, unless they go to all four.

Couldn't just one of them open in the afternoon to convenience both buyers and sellers who prefer to trade after lunch? Perhaps on the Knavesmire?
