GIVING that Welsh school teacher a three month jail sentence (suspended for one year) for slapping a child is utterly ridiculous.
How does our woeful Government expect bright young people to go into a teaching career when such "rules" apply?
All the teacher unions and all right-minded, decent folk are disgusted at the way that headmistress with a first class record has been so let down by our crazy laws and the interpretation of justice.
