PET prosperity is at an all time high. On Monday we brought you the tale of Rex, a Langton rabbit who lives in his own house. Today the focus switches to cosseted curs. The first hydrotherapy centre for dogs has opened in North Yorkshire. How have we managed so long without one?
Corpulent canines will be winched into the water and ordered to swim. For the extra lucky lapdog a session in the hydrospa beckons, although a facial is still out of the question. For dog owners the benefits are obvious. Their pet is returned slimmer, fitter - and less whiffy.
