Manager: John Still
Stadium: Underhill
Capacity: 5,000 (approx)
Last Season: 6th
Comings and goings
Out: Striker Marlon King (Gillingham, £255,000)
In: Midfielder Austin Berkley (Shrewsbury, free)
One to watch: Goalkeeper Lee Harrison. Bees fans reckon he's Division Three's number one. No doubt York's Alan Fettis and Chesterfield's Mike Pollitt would disagree.
Odds: Although seemingly safe at Underhill for another year after a summer of ground improvements, the threat that Barnet will eventually have to move to satisfy safety demands remains real.
It could mean another season when off-field events take priority over playing matters.
Barnet surprised everyone last season with their place among the front-runners and looked a good bet for automatic promotion until fading badly.
Although strong defensively, a lack of firepower to complement St Lucian international Ken Charlery, top scorer last season with 13, has many Bees supporters believing their moment has passed.
