I AM considering withholding my community charge payments until council officers explain and justify, in public, increases in councillors' 'allowances' when community workers such as street cleaners, bin men, hospital cleaners, porters, cooks, school caretakers and kitchen staff, who are all essential to our community health and welfare, are overworked and underpaid.
Would anyone like to join me in this protest?
