YORK City manager Terry Dolan has tried to sign former Blackburn and Leicester City striker Graham Fenton.
The burly frontman had been on a short-term contract with Stoke City this season and caught the eye in the Potters' 5-1 Worthington Cup demolition of City at Bootham Crescent.
Fenton has not taken up an offer to talk to Dolan with a view to joining the Minsterman.
