Big hearted Ryedale walkers David Collier and Martin Lush have raised £1,200 for Nawton Primary School, near Helmsley, but now they have to figure out what they want to spend it on.
"We didn't carry out the walk for any specific thing other than to raise money for school funds," said Mr Collier, who is a parent at the school.
"We raised the money by getting people to sponsor us to do the Lyke Wake Walk from Ravenscar to Osmotherley.
"We completed the 42-mile walk in about 13 hours; it was very strenuous but it was well worth it."
There are a number of things the school need, but now the two walkers have to decide what they want to buy with their donation.
"Some of the teachers have made a list of things they want, but over the next week we're going to go away and decide what we're going to spend the money on."
