Riccall head Reserve 'B' after three straight wins, their latest a fine 4 - 3 victory over Poppleton in a very entertaining game. Poppleton played all the early football and opened the scoring when the Riccall 'keeper fumbled the ball following a corner and Joe Vaughan netted from close range. Riccall equalised against the run of play when a neat one-two put Sean Harris clear to score.

After the break Riccall were revitalised and dominated for long spells with further goals coming from Harris and Lorn Parkin with a 25 yard shot.

Poppleton pulled one back when Vaughan added his second after a mix up in the Riccall defence gifted him the ball, but back came Riccall. Paul Hand caused confusion in front of the Poppleton box and the outcome was an own goal.

Jimmy Brannigan hit Poppleton's third goal and set up a frantic last five minutes in which the visitors were denied an equaliser by a tremendous save from the Riccall 'keeper.

Barmby Moor missed a penalty but still managed a 3 - 2 win at Moor Lane. Pete Burnell and Phil Harper scored first half goals for Barmby with Mark Copley replying for Moor Lane.

Barry McBrearty levelled the scores for Moor Lane but Burnell then hit his second and the winner for Barmby.

Richard Hunter scored for Stamford Bridge away to Malton Bacon Factory, whose Chris Bell equalised in the last minute.

South Bank were leading 1 - 0 through a Dave Kettlewell goal at Rufforth when they decided at half-time to make three substitutions to revitalise the team. Substitute Adam Cook responded with two goals, Guy Kilner added two more and veteran Drew Kelly rounded off a 7- 0 win.

Andrew Bell gave Easingwold the lead just before halftime at home to Wigginton Black Horse, but the tables were turned after the break as Simon Slater and Nick Ogle won the game for the visitors.

In Reserve 'C', White Horse scored their second win in successon with a 2 - 1 victory at Heworth, who put the visitors under pressure for long periods without scoring.

Andy Jollans put White Horse ahead before the break. Kevin Ingleby equalised, but Miles Taylor grabbed the winner against the run of play with 15 minutes remaining.

Wilberfoss, who are enjoying one of their best starts to a season for some time, won 3-2 at Huby. Richard Fulford, Robin Walker and Kes Lewins were their scorers, Clive McGuiness and Ian Phillips replying for Huby.

Dave Thompson and Gary Spuhler gave LNER Builders a 2 - 1 home win over Wheldrake.

Lee Dwight (2), Darren Shepherd and a penalty from 'keeper Dale Binns saw Boroughbridge home as comfortable winners over Norton, whose scorer was Willie Glover.
