Harrogate Town boss Mick Hennigan is staying positive despite seeing his side hammered 8-1 at UniBond League division one leaders Vauxhall Motors on Saturday.

Town, third bottom of the table, travel to league new-boys North Ferriby United tonight with Hennigan hoping the lessons learnt on Saturday will improve his side.

"We got what we deserved, but it was more my fault than anyone else's as I pick the team and sort out tactics; the buck stops with me," he said.

"Vauxhall Motors showed no mercy and I like that in teams. If the team you're playing are bad then you get them done - and when we didn't have the ball on Saturday we were rubbish. It's down to me to remind the players of things like that."

Meanwhile, former Gainsborough Trinity player-manager Greg Fee is again expected to be named in the Town team following his move to Wetherby Road.

Fee parted company with the premier division strugglers immediately after their 7-1 defeat at Stalybridge Celtic last week, having taken over the reins in the close season.

Having only just registered himself as a player hours before that defeat - previous club Emley had held onto his playing registration for the first two months of the campaign - the centre-back was snapped up by Hennigan 72 hours later.
