A special edition of Channel 4's Pet Rescue will focus on the efforts to save animals from the rising waters of the RSPCA's York animal centre in Landing Lane.
The programme, to be screened at 5pm tomorrow, records the dramatic attempts by the RSPCA, the fire service and the Army to ensure the safety of the 160 dogs and cats there when the River Ouse came into the centre.
