KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Jan Molby has completed a hectic week of transfer business with his third signing in four days.

Molby yesterday sealed the capture of Frenchman Parfait Medou-Otye after contract talks had earlier stalled.

Medou-Otye, dubbed 'Titi' because of his resemblance to Liverpool's Titi Camara, has signed an 18-month deal at Aggborough following a trial stint at the club.

The Cameroon-born player, who can play in defence or midfield, began his career at French side Le Havre before a brief spell at Scottish outfit Greenock Morton.

Medou-Otye may miss tomorrow's clash with City due to a groin problem but joins new signings Neil MacKenzie and John Durnin as permanent fixtures in the Harriers squad, with football bad boy MacKenzie expected to make his debut.

The 24-year-old midfielder had been training with the Conference champions this week after being sacked by Second Division Cambridge United for "persistent misconduct" last month.

The former Stoke City player, signed by United for around £30,000 last year, is likely to come in for Dean Bennett in midfield.

Bennett suffered an eye injury after a clash of heads in last Saturday's FA Cup scoreless stalemate at home with non-League Burton Albion - a match that epitomised Kidderminster's problems so far this season.

After winning promotion on the back of a 17-match unbeaten home run, Molby's team have won just once in their last nine Division Three outings and have not won at Aggborough since September 16.

The main problem is an inability to find the back of the net. Since that September triumph over Leyton Orient, the Harriers have scored just twice in the League.

Molby moved this week to ease his goalscoring problems by signing experienced front man Durnin, 35, on a permanent contract.

Durnin, released by Carlisle at the end of last season, was previously on a short-term deal but four goals in six games persuaded Molby to offer the ex-Oxford United and Portsmouth player an extension.

Expected to be on the bench for Kidderminster tomorrow is former York City goalkeeper Tim Clarke.
