Selby side T&L overwhelmed Marton-cum-Grafton 7-0 in their York City and District FA Saturday Junior Cup third round game.

It was one of a batch of York FA cup games which were delayed a week because of the floods, but T&L were on top form with a hat-trick for John Ginty, plus a goal each by Chris Harkin and Darren Fawcett and two own goals.

In the Saturday Reserve Cup Pocklington beat Old Malton 3-2 with the winning goal coming from Chris Tatterton with three minutes of extra-time remaining.

Wigginton Black Horse had a deserved 2-1 victory at Riccall. Both Black Horse's goals came from Mark Potter in the first half with David Horner netting Riccall's consolation goal with two minutes of the tie remaining.

Boroughbridge took the lead against Stamford Bridge when their goalkeeper Dale Binns netted from the penalty spot after only five minutes.

Stamford Bridge hit back to take a 2-1 lead through a goal by Carl Colbeck plus an own goal. Boroughbridge drew level, Ray Kitching scoring from close range with the last kick of the first half.

Boroughbridge took control of the game with two goals in the first five minutes of the second half. Fran Raper was put clear to net with vigour and then Adam Wixs followed up his own shot to net the rebound.

Boroughbridge's final goal was a header by Justin Sinclair which gave them a 5-2 triumph.

The shock result in the Sunday Junior Cup was division six side Burnholme beating Cygnet 2-1.

Burnholme went into the lead after 15 with an Alan Preece shot into the top corner of the goal, but by half-time Cygnet had drawn level. This spurred Burnholme and their winner came from a cracking 20 yard shot by Neil Foster.

Raskelf defeated Volunteer reserves 4-3, the winner coming from Tom Green five minutes from time.

Heslington Hotspurs took an early lead against Selby WMC, but in-form Chris Harkin soon hit back for Selby WMC with four goals. Dave Raesbeck scored a fifth for the Selby team, who won 5-3.

Bishopthorpe United went through to the next round with a comfortable 5-0 win at home to Wanderers.

Both games in the Senior Minor Cup went into extra time. York RI Under-16s defied the age difference when defeating Monk Fryston Under-17s by 3-2, the winning goal coming ten minutes into extra time when Richard Jackson headed in from a corner.

T&L Selby and Brayton were level 6-6 at the end of extra time, and Brayton won the penalty shoot-out 3-1.

Mick Anderson netted four times as Brooklyn went through to the fourth round of the Intermediate Minor Cup with a 7-1 win against Barlby Raiders.

In the Junior Minor Cup, Real Cliffe fought back from a two goal deficit with goals by Jack Rodgers (3), Scott Birch, Adam Sharp and Ashley Wells to overpower Selby Olympia 6-3.

Stephen Walker scored five goals as Copmanthorpe Cougars beat visitors Easingwold 8-4 in the Acaster Steel Cup. Danny Chipper, Peter Brown and Calam Hall were the other marksmen for Copmanthorpe.

Real Cliffe beat Barlby Raiders 5-2 with a hat-trick from Tom Salt plus a goal by James Swan and an own goal.
