On the rise Pickering Town entertain Northallerton in the North Riding Senior Cup tonight at the Recreation Ground (kick-off 7.45pm) with changes afoot.
Pikes manager Jimmy Reid has been forced to make tinker with his Northern Counties East League division one title-chasing squad for the rearranged tie.
Recent signings Stefan Zoll, Matthew Cressey and Matty Higginbottom are all ineligible but Reid is confident of success.
"It is a big blow to lose three players but we have enough quality in the squad to cope," he said.
Pickering: from Mitchell, Reid, O'Reilly, Sturdy, Connor, Wilson, G Chapman, Wilgrass, Dale, Wash, Wood, Farthing, Morton, J Chapman, MacAuley.
Harrogate Town savoured cup success last night with a 1-0 win over Premier Division leaders Emley in the UniBond League Cup group stage. A second -half strike from Kevin Noteman sealed the impressive win.
