York City manager Terry Dolan has been forced to ring the changes again for tomorrow's trip to Cheltenham Town, a match that heralds a "massive" week for the Minstermen.

City travel to Whaddon Road tomorrow in search of their third successive away win before welcoming table-toppers Chesterfield to Bootham Crescent on New Year's Day.

The following Saturday City are on the road again for the eagerly-anticipated FA Cup third round tie with Leicester City.

"If we had picked up three points against Blackpool we would have been in an interesting position," said Dolan.

"But we have two games coming up now against two of the strongest teams in the division so it will be a good test for us."

Midfielder Scott Jordan is ruled out with the thigh strain picked up in the Boxing Day victory over Macclesfield while Steve Agnew has yet to shake-off the ankle injury that saw him miss the trip to Moss Rose.

Dolan has confirmed Kevin Hulme, having served a one-match suspension, will come into the side in a straight swap with Jordan.

With Mark Sertori, who scored the winning goal in last season's corresponding fixture, suspended, Mark Bower, who also missed the clash with the Silkmen with a hamstring strain, is set to come back into the side.

"Hopefully, Mark will be fit but if he doesn't make it Matt Hocking will come in," explained Dolan.

City's defence should breathe a collective sigh of relief should former striker and tormentor-in-chief Neil Grayson be added to Cheltenham Town's growing absentee list.

Grayson, the one-time City and Rowntree Mackintosh hitman, limped from the field in the Robins' 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury on Boxing Day and yesterday underwent a scan on his injured ankle.

It was the same ankle that the 36-year-old Grayson broke when scoring the second of his two goals in Cheltenham's 2-0 victory over the Minstermen at the start of the season.

He also scored the winner against City in the corresponding fixture at Bootham Crescent last season when the Robins again emerged victorious.

However, while there is obvious concern over Grayson's fitness, sources in Gloucester say he is not definitely ruled out of tomorrow's clash.

Definitely out though are former Swansea City target man Julian Alsop, who has served two matches of a four-match suspension, midfielder Michael Duff, who is starting a three-match ban, and ball winning midfielder Mark Yates, who is serving a one-match suspension for picking up five yellow cards.
