WHAT rights do the Turks, who disrupted the London Eye and Parliament Street in York, have to take such action? It's all very well to let these people in to escape trouble in their own country, but what do they expect Britain to do, go to war with Turkey?
The place to demonstrate is in Turkey, where they should be trying to enlist the help of their countrymen, or try to get the UN involved.
As a country we seem to walk in the shadow of the United States, which sees itself as the world police force. We keep getting involved with matters which are nothing to do with us directly.
