THE annual New Year's Day Cross Country relay is being staged on Monday, at 11am at Knavesmire (Tadcaster Road end).
The informal event is suitable for all ages and standards. Teams of three (running 1.5 miles, three miles, three miles) can enter together, or individuals can turn up and be arranged into teams on the day.
The run is on grass. Teams with a female, a young boy, or a man over 50 get a three minute start.
