I READ with interest and some fascination the article about the 17-step pre-match good luck ritual of Leeds FC fan Laura Clark (Evening Press, January 23). Surely by now she must have realised that they have no effect on the outcome of games, assuming she wants Leeds to win. I can only assume that the seat 36 she likes to occupy that is always vacant is at Bootham Crescent, rather than at Leeds - but maybe not.
