THE text message - the main communication means of choice for many in the 21st Century - has been employed in the fight against crime by a York man.
After his mobile phone was stolen from his Charlton Street home during a break-in, the man sent a text message to the burglar demanding the phone's return.
The contents of the message are not known, but the phone was promptly posted through the man's letterbox yesterday.
