HAVING read the vituperative rigmarole vomited up by your columnist Chris Titley (February 21) I would pose the question I have asked before, which is -- what would you put in place of the Royal Family?
With all its faults, it is better than other leaderships.

...CHRIS Titley's column about royal freeloaders was very interesting. Some will agree with him and some will argue that the Royals bring some good to the country in tourism and the like.
But if he wants freeloaders he should take a trip to Dover and he will see freeloaders by the lorry-full, come to this country to join the tens of thousands already here.
