Leeper Hare York and District League premier division leaders Huntington Rovers were beaten 2-1 at Dringhouses.

Pat Noon put the visitors ahead in the first half from 20 yards.

Neil Ducy equalised in the second half and though Huntington fought back they could not penetrate the Dringhouses defence, where Andy Barkway was outstanding.

After Rovers fluffed a scoring chance Dringhouses counter-attacked and striker John Lake scored with a clinical finish. Mark Ratcliffe had an outstanding game for Dringhouses.

Old Malton are only three points behind Huntington with five games in hand after a 4-1 win at home to Wigginton Grasshoppers.

Darren Walker and Mick Henderson put Old Malton two up in the first half. Henderson slotted home his second and Grasshoppers pulled one back when Mark Scoreby scored from the penalty spot. Man of the Match Neil Wilford netted Old Malton's fourth.

Rich Millett scored a hat-trick as Pocklington overwhelmed CGU 8-0. The other marksmen were Rob Heels, Mike Murr, team manager Carl Calvert, Graham Whitehead (penalty) and Dave Gamble with a header.

Ian Kettlewell opened the scoring to set Bishopthorpe on the way to a 4-1 win at New Earswick.

Andy Fenwick beat 'keeper Carl Tuman with a well placed shot just before the interval to make it 2-0.

James Vine pulled one back for New Earswick in the second half before Chris Smith and Allinson got two more for Bishopthorpe.

Chris Burgess netted direct from a corner to put Dunnington ahead at home to Crayke, who rallied, with Mark Hutchinson and Simon Wilson playing well.

Crayke 'keeper Paul Simpson prevented Dunnington going further head and Dan Copeland equalised from close range after a quick break.

Dunnington's 'keeper Paul Simpson, the man of the match, brilliantly saved two scoring opportunities.

Mike Walker, Grant Tolworthy and Mat Shelton played well for Dunnington.

Steve Hampson headed in from a corner midway through the second half to give Boroughbridge a 1-0 win at Kartiers, whose star man was Dave Dixon.
