A lorry driver who died in a crash on a North Yorkshire road may have been taken ill at the wheel.
The driver of a large box van, who has not been named but was said to be from North Yorkshire, was pronounced dead at the scene between the villages of Birstwith and Darley, near Harrogate.
The lorry left the road and overturned just before 3pm yesterday. No other vehicle was involved.
Firefighters cut the man free from the vehicle but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they believe it is possible the driver may have been taken ill at the wheel before the crash.
