PRECIOUS metals to the power of 13 were seized by the York City Gymnastic Foundation.
The York side, coached by Stan and Liz Wild, amassed two gold, eight silver and three bronze medals at the White Rose amateur gymnastics competition at Hull against teams from Hull, Goole, Bradford, Featherstone and South Holderness.
Leading the medal way was Rebecca Raper, whose silver medal-winning performances on beam and bars in the youth division yielded a gold overall.
The other gold was plundered in the junior section by Rachel Hawkhead for her display on the vault to add to the silver she collected on the bars.
The other YCGF medal-winners were: youth - Stephanie Gould silver (vault), bronze (overall); Hannah Thompson bronze (bars), bronze (vault); Serena Sawdon-Holland silver (bars); junior - Danielle Hughes silver (bars); Katie Peek-Vout silver (floor); Rachel Edmond silver (vault).
