PROFESSIONALS from four separate business sectors in East Yorkshire have joined forces to create a one-stop shop to help business people achieve their goals.

The new company, Mansionhouse Commercial Mortgages Ltd, is the brainchild of Pocklington financial, and investment expert Ken Room and has set himself the target of borrowing £10 million in the first year.

In just a few weeks, he has brought together the skills and resources of a team of legal, property, financial and investment experts in a move which, he maintains, has not been attempted previously in this region.

Based at Pocklington, the new company has brought together Hull-based law firm, The Max Gold Partnership, East and North Yorkshire estate agents Chris Clubley & Co, and the NatWest Bank and Beverley Building Society as the funders.

Mr Room said: "As far as we know, this is the first time that all the professional skills that are required in the sourcing and purchasing of a new business property have been brought together under one roof.

"Until now, businessmen and women needing a commercial mortgage have had to find the right property man to source or at least check over the building, then attempt to pick the best financial adviser, find the money and the best lawyer to put the package together."
