Sandra Bruce registered an 18, without a ton score, to help steer Ox to a 6-3 victory against Cygnet in York John Smith's Ladies League division one.

Brigadier, with a full complement of players, were back to their magnificent best. With 11 ton-plus scores between them they rode roughshod over Dringhouses.

Captain Sue Lowery (22) was assisted by triple-ton scorers Carole Layne and Roz Kerr. Shelley Moran and Susie Hughes prevented the whitewash.

Carol Perrett (Cranes), two tons for 24, then partnered Babs Harrison to take the decider against Punch. Diane Moreland hit a maximum for the winners.

Tracey Farmeary closed on 78 as City Arms recorded a 6-3 victory against Vaults, whose Diane Armer played well.

Bay Horse had victory in the bag before the pairs, Jan Wilberham being Clifton's only singles winners as Bay romped to a 6-3 win.

Angie Read checked out on 76 to give Shepherd a 4-1 lead over Mitre in their division two match, Wendy Smith (21, 140) for 22 pulled one back and levelled the scores with Donna Watson in the pairs. Mandy Watson, Audrey Seymour combined to win the decider for Mitre.

Britannia ruled the boards as the 'B' team sailed into a 7-0 lead against Cygnet, captain Alison Buckley leading the way. Britannia 'A' steamed ahead of Leeman, winning by the same scoreline. Sally Swales was the star.

Half Moon were 4-2 down at Jubilee but bounced back, Betty Jameson with Dot Trousdale snatching the decider.

Excellent scoring by Glenda Mordue and Pat Cairns, secured Slip a resounding 7-2 win at Burton WMC.

Severus's Sheila Elliot and Val Long secured the match against Poacher, then the Deanne Joy and Sue Richardson partnership added a further point.

Division three leaders Frog lost out to Holgate WMC. Pat Rainton and Babs Potter sealed the win after some superb scoring by Carol Price.

Madge Steele starred for Cue Ball in the singles but it was Carol Stubbs with June Miller who made sure of victory against Old Ebor.

Sue Skinner hit a maximum for Tang Hall WMC as they triumphed 6-3 against Queen. Barbara Ward and Debbie Moody both included tons in their wins.

Shepherd registered the same scoreline against Clifton, claiming the final two pairs games. Ann Wood starred.

Woolpack's captain Jackie Price combined with Chris Patterson to take the decider against Puss 'n Boots whose Bid Richardson played well.

Pat Norman with Eileen White snatched the decider as Leeman 'B' beat their 'C' team, the 'B' team racing into a 4-0 lead only to be pegged back. Dot Sellers with Collette Wilson pulled the teams level before the Norman-White conquest.

Collingwood ran out 5-4 winners in the Marston Moor Village League Knock-Out Cup, beating league runners-up Tankard 'A'.

Gary Stead for the victors closed on 104 for 21 on the double board, colleague Steve Wragg (21) shot out on 80, and 23s were registered by Andy Oliver (Collingwood) and Tankard's Peter Powell.

Tankard 'A' gained some consolation by winning the Domino Cup 2-1 against Pavilion.

Alice have won the Domino League with 16 wins out of 22 matches. Second place went to Tankard 'B'. Oak are top with 21 from 22 followed by Tankard 'A' with 19 wins.

Oak's Kevin Lund heads the most wins table on 21, the three highest checkouts going to Alan Whitehead of Tankard 'A' with 100.67 average, excellent scoring on the doubles board.

Collingwood's Steve Wragg has the highest number of tons scored - 21 out of 22 games. Wragg also wins the three fastest finishes trophy.

Marston Moor Villages Darts and Dominoes League hold their finals and presentation night at the Sport Club, Long Marston this Thursday at 8.30pm. Spectators are welcome.
