CONGRATULATIONS to the York Health Trust in procuring finance for a £16 million investment at York District Hospital. This means even more people will use the hospital. But where are they to park when they arrive?
The first priority for any investment at the already overcrowded hospital site is to provide somewhere for visiting cars to park, especially when the nearest car park at Union Street is to be partially taken up with the moving of the coach park.
A slightly cock-eyed view if you ask me.
