Darryll Holland's loss could be Kieren Fallon's gain at Goodwood tomorrow.

Holland, who is sitting out the 14-day ban he picked-up for dropping his hands and losing a race he should have won at Chester recently, misses the mount on Asian Heights in the featured Compass UK Leisure Predominate Stakes.

Fallon, who, ironically, pipped the erring Holland on the post at Chester, comes in for the ride on the Geoff Wragg-trained colt, who is held in high regard.

Winner of his only race as a juvenile, Asian Heights ran a fine race when narrowly beaten by Chancellor on his reapperance at Sandown last month.

He can go one better here and, in the process, book his place in the Derby field.

John Dunlop and Pat Eddery can do little wrong this season and the trainer-jockey combination can land the Newton Investment Management Handicap with Red N' Socks.

A recent winner at Lingfield, Red N' Socks has excellent prospects of following-up in this £15,000 event, one of four races being shown live from Goodwood on BBC2.

Photographer (2.00) is fancied to make a winning debut for Sir Micheal Stoute, while the progressive Alowmdah (4.15) can extend Ben Hanbury's current purple patch.

At Beverley, Alan Swinbank, very much a trainer to follow at present, has good prospects of lifting the feature race.

Swinbank, who took out a licence only on February 1, has since saddled two winners over jumps and a further six on the Flat, and has had winners on each of the last two days.

The Richmond-based trainer is represented by Court Express in the £10-000 Habbershaws-sponsored Rated Handicap over an extended mile.

Fergal Lynch's mount is a previous course and distance winner here and he underlined his well-being when landing last month's Thirsk Hunt Cup in thrilling style. He should run a big race.

My Nap vote goes to Caqui d'Or in the Rapid Lad Handicap, also sponsored by Habbershaws Bookmakers. John Dunlop's three-year-old will relish this first step up to a mile and a half and, with Jason Weaver on board, a successful assault is anticipated.

Henry Cecil is struggling to find top form this season, but the Warren Place trainer has every chance of figuring on the scoreboard with A Bit Special in the Habbershaws Maiden Fillies' Stakes.

Although it is unlikely that she will quite live up to her name, A Bit Special has shown definite signs of ability in her two outings so far.

Also worth noting is Brilliantrio (4.55), trained by Julie Camacho, who gave notice of returning to form at Ripon 12 days ago.
