Scarborough had the better of a Hunters Estate Agent York and District Senior League division two table topping clash with Tadcaster Magnet, who lost seven wickets in settling for a draw.

David Morris made 41 and Robert Harrison an unbeaten 32 as the North Marine Road side made 180 for eight against Paul Downey (3-49) and Matthew Keel (3-59).

R Parker made 31 in Magnets' reply but five wickets by Harrison reduced them to 153 for seven.

Hull Zingari crushed Civil Service by 111 runs. Service were dismissed for 73 by Andy Hampson (5-23) and Anthony Knowles (3-11. Earlier, Mark Richardson had hit 51 and Hampson 46 not out as Zingari posted 184 for eight despite Mick Bradley taking five for 57.

Bubwith won by seven wickets at home to Rowntree thanks to Neil Readman scoring 45, Gary Moore 31 and Edward Smith 32 not out.

Richard Tuite (33) and Gerry Capelin (37) had earlier given Rowntree a decent foundation but this was wrecked by Brian Last taking six for 10 in 38 balls to have Rowntree all out for 130 in 44.2 overs.

Bridlington suffered their first defeat of the season when they floundered at Clifton Alliance. Edward Pockley made 36 and Simon Brooke 42 as Bridlington made 154 for seven.

Clifton's batsmen then took control, Rob Taylor hitting 62, Tom Malloch 36 and Peter Hunter 28 not out in a six wicket triumph.

Twenty wickets fell at Goole, whose Dave England took eight for 44 in 22 overs but saw Castleford win by 11 runs.

Steve Medley top scored for Castleford with 29 out of a 136 total.

Veteran and former county bowler Peter Kippax took three for 17 and Dan Longhurst three for 30 as Harrogate won by seven wickets at Whitkirk.
