Teenage tennis queen Lorraine Waudby exacted sweet revenge as she lifted the girls' Under-16 York Tyke Petroleum Junior title.
Waudby beat Helen Haxendale 6-5 in the final staged at Wigginton Tennis Club, but only after losing by the same scoreline to Haxendale in the preliminary rounds of the competition.
In the boys' section, James Meadows caught the eye as he beat Luke Pollard 6-2 in the Under-12s final while Tom Richardson underlined his talent with a 6-0 win over Shay Sangster in the Under-18s final.
Around 60 youngsters took part in the tournament, with preliminary round matches also played at Civil Service, Bootham and York Tennis Club before the finals were staged at Wigginton.

Boys Under-10, Matthew Shepherd bt Chris Baveman 6-2; Under-12, Jonathan Holbeck bt Joshua Beavers 6-5; Under-14, James Meadows bt Luke Pollard 6-2; Under-16, Matthew Vines bt James Langley 6-2; Under-18, Tom Richardson bt Shay Sangster 6-0.
